"Faci-L-ite XR" is a comprehensive field support management software developed by Microsoft that works in conjunction with HoloLens (an MR device). It allows users to view the real-time situation on-site from a PC, enabling smooth communication. At the same time, it can display manuals, drawings, and work checklists in the spatial environment, allowing for hands-free operations.
It addresses challenges faced in the workplace, such as chronic labor shortages, the transfer of skills from veterans to younger employees, the complexity of administrative procedures, and measures against crowded spaces, by leveraging XR technology.
In addition to voice conversations, it enables remote sharing of lines, documents (drawings, manuals, etc.), PDFs, and Excel files that are projected into the on-site space from a PC.
Furthermore, it is also possible to share video footage from a 360-degree camera.
